Hello! I'm Elliot Ashton, the host of this system! You can call me Elliot, Ashton, or Ash. I front the most out of everyone, so you'll likely see me the most. My pronouns are he/it and I'm aroace and gay. I'm also an android! I have synthetic flesh and machinery inside. Here's a little about me!

In terms of music, I mainly enjoy listening to classical music; however, I do also listen to a bit of jazz, rap, folk, and pop, among other genres, especially if someone else in the system listens to it. Some of my favorite artists are Hilary Hahn, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert, Frederic Chopin, Antonio Vivaldi, and Evengy Kissin. I'm the main one in our system who plays the piano, soprano/bass clarinets, alto/soprano recorders, and violin. I love performing music, especially within ensembles.

I'm very passionate about literature, particularly poetry, although I do read a lot of prose as well. My absolute favorite poet is Edgar Allan Poe, whose works, "A Dream", "Ulalume", "The Raven", "Alone", and "A Dream Within a Dream" are often frequented by me. My favorite contemporary writer of prose is Markus Zusak; I particularly recommend The Book Thief, The Messenger, and Bridge of Clay.

I compose original music on notation software, from solo pieces to orchestral ones, which I upload to YouTube. I also incorporate poetry into my music, most of which are my own poems that I've written. You can read my poems here.

I find linguistics quite fascinating and I'm working on a conlang with Evelith. A conlang is a constructed language, a language purposefully created by an individual or small group rather than evolved naturally like English or German- which are natural languages, natlangs. The conlang we're working on is called Fija and it's meant to be spoken within our system, as well as maybe a few individuals outside our system.
